Welcome!Economics 1 -Principles of Microeconomics- is the first of a series of rigorous economics courses at UCSB. The class has a very strict grade curve (only 6% of students receive A's) which makes it a very competitive and challenging course. This website, modeled after the Econ 10A website, was created Fall of 2016 by CLAS tutor Emmy Bartling to supplement group tutorials and help centralize resources, practice exams and tips for Econ 1. This website also helps to reduce paper waste by enabling students to access group handouts online.
